Aug 18, 2023Breeze helps Southern Utahns ‘Breathe Easy’ with air duct and dryer vent cleaning
CONTRIBUTED CONTENT — Southern Utah is the perfect place to pursue a healthy lifestyle, and health begins at home. Breeze Cleaning Services, LLC helps local residents “Breathe Easy” with the most affordable air ducts and dryer vent cleaning in town.
Owner Jaxson Morgan, a lifelong Utah resident with no plans to leave the Beehive State, is proud to call Southern Utah home and continue serving Breeze customers for years to come.
“There’s a benefit to being small and local,” he said. “We’re able to provide that hometown, family-style service that customers know they can count on.”
A truly local small business, Breeze is the product of Morgan’s evolution from student to entrepreneur. Last year, he was enrolled in the pre-med program at Utah Tech University while also working a 9-to-5 job. His schedule was suffocating: five days a week, he would leave the house at 5 a.m. to hit the gym before spending at least eight hours at work, followed by classes. Usually, he didn’t come home until around 10 p.m.
“It was miserable, to say the least,” he said. “I wanted to find something that would allow me to take control of my time so I could still provide for my family but also have time to breathe.”
Morgan learned everything he needed to know about the industry from his brothers, who run a duct and vent cleaning service in northern Utah. Although he initially created Breeze as a “side hustle” that would allow him to focus more on school, he hit the ground running in February, and it’s now his full-time vocation.
“I love the entrepreneurial side of things. I love having a business, and especially a business that helps people live healthier,” he said. “One of the main reasons I wanted to go into the medical field is because I love helping people. It’s my passion.”
Air ducts cleaning
St. George residents enjoy some of the cleanest air in America. Although pollution isn’t a concern, the dry environment creates respiratory challenges of its own. Dust and other allergens travel freely in the desert breeze, invading air ducts and making people sneeze.
“It’s rare to find a place where the air is cleaner outside than inside,” Morgan said.
Allergens that become trapped in air ducts can be harmful to breathe, even at microscopic levels, making duct cleaning an essential part of any healthy home maintenance schedule. Industry experts recommended cleaning your air ducts every three to five years. It’s especially important for people who struggle with seasonal and environmental allergies, Morgan said, and will likely reduce many of their symptoms.
Dryer vent cleaning
Did you know that the greatest fire risk in the average home is found not in the kitchen, but in the laundry room? Over 90% of house fires nationwide are linked to dryers and many originate within the dryer vent. Over time, the ducts fill up with dust, lint and fibers that block air flow.
“If you’ve got any kind of blockage, it creates a fire hazard,” Morgan said. “From huge piles of lint to a bird’s nest, we’ve seen it all.”
Dryer vents need to be cleaned about once a year, Morgan said, but households that use their dryer daily or have pets should consider doing it every six months. Along with significantly lowering fire risk, routine cleanings can also improve the dryer’s performance and energy efficiency.
Customer testimonials
Breeze customer Jeremy contacted the company in hopes of helping his family, especially his youngest daughter, breathe more easily at home. Since moving to Southern Utah, they’ve experienced breathing issues when using their home’s AC system. He sent Breeze a message on social media and was pleasantly surprised to get a quick response over the weekend.
“They expressed genuine concern and were ready to help. We set up an appointment and they were punctual, professional, courteous and a true pleasure to have in our home,” he said. “They cleaned all of our ducts and dryer vent, and they recommended an honest and fair maintenance schedule. In my opinion, five stars isn’t enough. I highly recommend Breeze!”
“I didn’t even know how badly our old home needed this. It had probably never been done before,” another customer named Mandy said. “So much junk was removed.”
“Since receiving their services, we have observed a remarkable improvement in our children’s allergies,” added Shontay, yet another satisfied customer. “Without a doubt, selecting Breeze Cleaning Services guarantees the best combination of a superior outcome and an unbeatable deal.”
Breeze serves residential customers throughout the greater St. George area, working with homeowners as well as vacation rental and property management agencies. Morgan said he’s proud to offer the most competitive pricing for air duct and dryer vent cleaning in Southern Utah.
“We don’t believe in any hidden costs whatsoever,” he added. “What you’re quoted is what we charge.”
